Funny in Farsi post#5

Quote: When I call my parents at home, I usually talk to my mother first.(said by: Firoozeh)

Significance: The question I chose to relate my quote to is: How do the characters maintain there cultural ties to their homeland while living in America? I think that this question relates to my question because when they talk to there family they talk in there original language. So thats how they maintain there culture.

Personal Connection: I think that I have a personal connection to this quote. I think this because when I talk to certain family members like my mom, or aunt, or grandma I talk to them in Spanish.

Question: Do you have any people in your family you speak a different language to? If not what language besides English would you chose to speak to your family?

Quote: My father was just happy that I was getting married.(Page:144/said by: Firoozeh)

Significance: The question I chose to relate to my quote is: How do Americans treat the characters?
I chose this question to relate to my quote because if Firoozeh is getting married then the other person who is marring her should be nice to her. So if she is getting married then Americans are obviously being nice to her.

Personal Connection: I think that I have a personal connection with my quote. I think this because My sister is with a guy that she will most likely marry and my dad was wondering that if he is treating her nice and if he really wants to be with her then he of course treating her good.

Question: Has there ever been a time in your life where a person has treated you very well?
