Funny in Farsi post#6

Quote: Try to find a crack or a hole.(Page:183/Said by:Firoozehs father)

Significance: I question I chose to relate my quote to is: What hardships do the characters face? I chose this question to relate to my quote because Firoozehs brother was coming in to this room expecting a messed up wall. And the hardship is that Firoozehs father wanted to fix the wall.

Personal Connection: I think that I have a personal connection to this quote. I think this because when I went to Mexico with my youth group me and my team helped build houses for poor people there and before they had holes in the walls and everything was messed up and bad but then when we built them an actual house we told them everything was solid and when they felt the walls they started crying because they didn't have to worry about anything like someone breaking in there home or just having messed up walls.

Quote: "Its nothing" he said.(Page:179/Said by:Firoozehs husband)

Significance: The question I chose to relate my quote to is:Do the character face(endure) any problems? I chose this question to relate my quote because in this part of the book they hear shouting and protesting and there's an angry mob right outside the door. and when Firoozehs husband goes running through the door saying it nothing then theres got to be something because he is out of breath and he is laying down on the ground which he never does.

Personal Connection: I think that I do have a personal connection to this quote. I think this because when my friend got in a whole bunch of trouble one time and just ignored all of it, they chased him wanting to beat him up so he ran through my door and locked the door then next I hear a whole bunch of people pounding on the door and he said it was nothing.

Question: Did you ever have a time where something really big happened and you were like its nothing?

Quote: [response] I think that this quote isn't important and I can't relate to this quote. I can understand your personal connection though. I don't see any significance to this quote that relates to the question about Firoozeh's family hardships that they face.

Question: [You don't have a question, so no response.]

Quote: [response]The second quote doesn't really mean anything. I remember why he said it but you need to add another quote after he says that because people won't understand "It's nothing." I don't see how this quote relates to their life. I think that next time you should pick a stronger quote.

Answer to question: I say a lot of things, maybe I did say that. Some big things happen so maybe I have joked around saying, "Oh it's nothing." I like your reasons for supporting this quote though.
