Chapters 8-9 / Perspective: Scout

You know in Maycomb there arent very many weather condition a lot because its usually hot and sometimes cold but one day towards the start of school it got so cold that it started to snow. Biy me and jem got so excted because we were saying things like making snow men and having snow ball fights. But the one thing that brougt the most joy to my heart to see was wen the anouncment lady who was incharge of say all the announcment in the city and for warnings of emergencies she got on the loudspeaker and said there is no school today because of the snow condition. And you know it all seemed well because we made a black snowman that looked like mr.avery. But then later tat night something really bad happened and that was when miss maudies house got burnt down to the ground and the wierd thing is nobody knows how that happened. But what really got me goin is the next day somebody at school was making fun of me and my family because my dad was fighting for a black guy so they kept on calling bassically my family nigger lovers which got me so mad that almost make my hand in his face and my foot somewhere else. But then I remembered that my father atticus told me that just because he fighting for a black person doesnt mean that we are what that kid called us and its nothing to get mad about and also to never use that word nigger ever again.
