Immigration Reflection

I think that an immigrant is a person that migrated from a foreign country and that is my meaning of a immigrant and the real definition is a person who migrates to another country which is the same definition as mine. I think that there are a lot of reasons why people migrate to other countries. Some reasons are that there home country wasn’t safe, or the economy was bad, or they just didn’t like the country for there own personal matters.

I think that the country I live in is very good because there is so much to offer. Some things are that our government is more organized than other countries. Another reason is that it is way safer that any other country because we have laws that usually most of the people obey so there are barely any problems. And one last reason is we have plenty of jobs to offer unlike other countries it would be really hard to get a job well here in my country it is really easy to get a job.

I do think though that immigration affected our country a lot. I think this because if Mexican immigrants never came that we would probably not have the taco or any other Mexican food. If it was for African Americans we probably wouldn’t have Quanza. And if French immigrants never came we would never have a French class. And if no immigrants came we would probably have way different laws. I also think that my life has changed by immigration. I think this because if my mother didn’t migrate to America I would have not been Mexican I would have been a white Caucasian boy. And if there was no immigration in America then non of us would learn any other languages like Spanish especially me if my mother didn’t migrate to America
